The robust and rugged ST-71 has been designed for the most demanding hospitality and retail environments. Neither dirt nor foreign bodies can bypass the rubber seal between the touch screen and front panel.

Flexible Design

The ST-71 has been designed to be as flexible as possible with 2 available screen options, 12 inch and 15 inch super-bright TFTs. The 15" screen optimises the graphical capability of the POS providing the operator with a larger display, reducing the number of operator errors and allowing more fast keys to be incorporated on to the screen.

The optional magnetic card reader can be mounted on either side of the screen to optimise counter space where several terminals are used next to each other.

An optional fully integrated and tiltable customer facing display screen is available which can be used to display advertising material.

Advanced Connectivity

There are a wide variety of interfaces built into the ST-71 which reduces the need for external power adaptors. This advanced connectivity will ensure that the ST-71 will work with not only existing peripherals but those likely to be released in the future, essential for low total cost of ownership.

Productive Operating Environment

The ST-71 is compatible with current Microsoft Windows and the certified Linux operating systems. Based on PC architecture, the ST-71 can run both off-the-shelf applications and specific software developed by Value Added Resellers.

Easy Maintenance

For essential maintenance, a slide-out module concept enables key components to be quickly and easily exchanged, minimising downtime.

Environmentally Friendly

It is possible to power on/off the ST-71 via the network using the ‘Wake on LAN’ function. This eco-friendly feature enables data collection without leaving the power on overnight.

The ST-71 has been designed to conform to RoHS (Restriction of Hazardous Substances) demonstrating that the ST-71 is truly environmentally friendly.
